Heya, I was in Newry about 2 weeks ago and the Mthercare there had very little. There's a shop called Bumps and Babies or the otherway around or something like that and that's in the town of Newry. The mothercare is cheaper than in Dublin, bought pyjamas there this weekend for? I would advise you to go to Belfast altogther or to Lisburn which is about half an hour further north from Newry There's a much better Mothercare there and a huge Tesco and Sainsbury to stock up on other stuff like nappies, formula, baby wipes for when you will need them baby powder etc!!
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Hi, when i was expecting dd we drove up to Toys R Us just outside belfast and got everything in the babies R us section, much cheaper and very helpful allowed us to check pram would fit in boot etc.
They will store pram etc until baby is born so hubby drove up after dd was born. In newry there is a toy shop near sainsburys that does baby stuff but i thought it was expensive. The mothercare is cheaper than in Dublin, bought pyjamas there this weekend for? You know those discount cards that you get from the mother and baby evenings in mothercare here, can you use them in Newry? Anyone ever done this, that would make the discount even better!!!! Thanks so much for the replies.
I was thinking of the babys R us shop in Belfast alright at least i will be able to get everything under the one roof. Cant wait to start shopping for the babs now might head up tommorow. But shopping in Newry much cheaper, I go up every 2 months and stock up on groceries, nappies, baby food etc works out alot cheaper.
I was going to buy a bugaboo in Mothercare in Newry but before we went up I phoned and asked if they accepted the discount card. You must be logged in to reply to this topic. Hi there,we were in newrybat the weekend. Bumps n babies was closed and looked very run down so I don't know if it was just closed for th embank holiday weekend or if it's gone altogether!
Mothercare is defo gone altogether! The only things we got were nappies n wipes which were good value, if I was you I'd drive straight past newrybat n go to Belfast instead! We were major disappointed!! Post New Topic Post Reply. Threads containing Words or Phrases: Search for posts by Username: Only search the current board. Unchecking causes a search on all the Boards.
